OM Tapas is inspired by the gastronomic culture of Andalusia in Southern Spain, where the concept of Tapas originated, and where the famous Iberico pigs roam. Executive Chef Antonio Moran practices his culinary techniques gleaned from serving in multiple Michelin-starred kitchens around Spain at OM Tapas and delivers traditional Spanish dishes with a unique modern Asian twist. These include all time favourites Iberico Pork Cheek Bao, Salted Egg Yolk Aioli Prawn Rabozedos, and Seafood Paella that is made with freshly prepared lobster stock.
Named after its location at One Minden Avenue in the buzzy hive of downtown Tsim Sha Tsui, OM Tapas’ name also takes inspiration from the yoga mantra, ‘om’. To yogis, the chant represents the past, present and future. Similarly, guests of OM Tapas would experience what Spanish food was, is and will be.
The semi-open-air, modern décor and chill ambience of OM Tapas offer a cosy and hearty dining experience. You may wish to start with a beautifully garnished glass of Spanish Gin Tonic while checking out the city view. Then move on to savour the delicious tapas and mains, matching them with a glass of Sangria or one of Spain’s best Sherries or Wines.
